Contributor Agreement

This Contributor Agreement governs your participation in the Freevecs contributor programme. By uploading any File to Freevecs you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to this Agreement.
This Agreement is between PRSM L.P., a Greek limited partnership registered in Athens (“Freevecs”, “we”, “us”, “our”), and the individual or entity uploading Files (“Contributor”, “you”, “your”).
If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not upload Files to Freevecs.
1. Definitions
In this Agreement the following terms have the meanings set out below:
“Account” means your Freevecs user account.
“Contributor” means the person or entity uploading Files under this Agreement.
“Contributor Agreement” means this legal agreement.
“Contributor Dashboard” means the online interface where contributors manage Files, view analytics and earnings, and configure payout methods.
“Download” means a user downloading a File through the Freevecs platform in accordance with the licence granted to users.
“File” or “Files” means any Vector files, Graphics files, illustrations, icons, patterns, bundles, PDF or other design asset uploaded by you.
“Freevecs Platform” means the website located at Freevecs.com and any connected interfaces.
“Gross Revenue” means the total revenue generated by Freevecs from advertising, subscriptions or other monetisation tied to Downloads or views of your Files.
“Net Revenue” means Gross Revenue minus taxes, refunds, chargebacks, transaction fees and platform costs as set out in the Revenue Share Policy.
“Payout” means the amount paid to you under the revenue share model for your Files.
“Revenue Share Policy” means the rules governing earnings, available on the Freevecs website and updated from time to time.
“Service” means the Freevecs platform and all related services.
“User” means an individual or entity who views or downloads Files on Freevecs.
“You” means the person agreeing to these terms.
2. Acceptance and Scope
2.1 By uploading any File to Freevecs you accept this Agreement.
2.2 This Agreement governs your uploads, your participation in the contributor programme and your right to receive Payouts.
2.3 This Agreement does not create any employment, partnership or agency relationship. You act as an independent contributor.
2.4 This Agreement is part of the broader legal framework of Freevecs which includes:
• the Terms and Conditions
• the Privacy Policy
• the Revenue Share Policy
Each document works together and all apply to you as a contributor.
3. Contributor Obligations
3.1 Accuracy of Information
You agree to keep your profile information accurate and up to date.
3.2 Compliance
You agree to comply with this Agreement, the Terms and Conditions, the Upload Guidelines and all applicable laws.
3.3 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for all Files you upload and for ensuring you hold all rights required under this Agreement.
4. Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:
4.1 You are the exclusive owner of the File or you have obtained all rights, licences and permissions necessary to upload it.
4.2 The File does not infringe any copyright, trademark, design right, moral right, privacy right or any other third party right.
4.3 The File does not contain viruses, malware or harmful code.
4.4 The File complies with Freevecs Upload Guidelines.
4.5 The File is original, accurate and not misleading.
4.6 Any third party materials included in the File have been properly licensed.
4.7 You have the legal capacity and authority to accept and enter into this Agreement.
If any of these warranties are breached, we may remove your Files, suspend your account or terminate this Agreement.
5. File Review and Removal
5.1 All uploaded Files may be reviewed by Freevecs before being published.
5.2 We may reject any File at our discretion without a requirement to provide reason.
5.3 We may remove any File at any time if:
• it violates this Agreement
• it violates third party rights
• it is technically flawed or low quality
• it causes legal or reputational risk
• a takedown request is received
5.4 We may suspend or terminate your contributor account if you repeatedly violate our guidelines.
6. Grant of Rights to Freevecs
6.1 Licence to Freevecs
By uploading a File you grant Freevecs a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free, sublicensable and transferable licence to:
• host
• store
• index
• display
• distribute
• promote
• make available for download
• generate derivative formats for display or conversion
• use the File in marketing and in platform demonstrations
6.2 Purpose
This licence is strictly for operating, marketing and improving the Freevecs platform.
6.3 Ownership
You retain ownership of your Files. This Agreement does not transfer ownership to Freevecs.
7. Licence to Users
7.1 You authorise Freevecs to grant Users a licence to use your Files under the Freevecs standard licence.
7.2 Users may:
• download your Files
• use them in personal or commercial design projects
• modify or adapt the Files for their own use
7.3 Users may not:
• resell or redistribute the Files as stand-alone files
• claim authorship
• upload your Files to other libraries or marketplaces
7.4 Freevecs may update the user licence from time to time to improve clarity and legal protection.
8. Revenue Share and Payouts
8.1 Contributors earn revenue based on Downloads, impressions and other monetisation channels as described in the Revenue Share Policy.
8.2 This Agreement incorporates the Revenue Share Policy by reference.
8.3 Net Revenue is calculated as described in the Revenue Share Policy.
8.4 Payouts are deposited to the payout method you configure in the Contributor Dashboard.
8.5 You are responsible for:
• providing accurate payout details
• paying any applicable local taxes
8.6 Freevecs may request tax forms or identification if required by law.
8.7 Freevecs may withhold Payouts if:
• files violate rights
• fraud is detected
• legal disputes are ongoing
• required to do so by law
8.8 Minimum payout thresholds may apply.
8.9 If your account is suspended or terminated, unpaid earnings may be forfeited in accordance with the Revenue Share Policy.
9. Contributor Profile and Public Visibility
9.1 By joining the contributor programme you allow Freevecs to display:
• your public display name
• your profile photo
• your uploaded Files
• analytics such as download counts
9.2 You may edit your public contributor profile at any time.
10. Takedowns and DMCA Requests
10.1 Freevecs complies with takedown procedures and will remove Files upon receiving valid infringement notifications.
10.2 If your File is removed due to a rights claim, you will be notified.
10.3 Repeated infringement may lead to contributor termination.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Freevecs harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
• your uploaded Files
• your breach of this Agreement
• your violation of third party rights
• any claims that a File infringes intellectual property rights
This clause survives termination.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• Freevecs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages
• Freevecs is not liable for lost profits, data loss or lost earnings
• Freevecs is not liable for errors in analytics reporting or download counting
• Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount paid to you in the previous 12 months
13. Term and Termination
13.1 This Agreement begins when you upload your first File.
13.2 You may terminate by deleting your contributor account.
13.3 We may terminate at any time if you breach this Agreement.
13.4 Upon termination:
• your Files may be removed from the platform
• any unpaid earnings may be handled according to the Revenue Share Policy
• rights granted to Users before termination survive
• the licence granted to Freevecs survives as needed to operate the platform and handle past downloads
14. Updates to This Agreement
14.1 Freevecs may update this Agreement from time to time.
14.2 We will notify contributors of material changes via email or a notice in the Contributor Dashboard.
14.3 Continued uploading of Files after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by Greek law.
Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Athens unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
16. Miscellaneous
16.1 Entire Agreement. This Agreement, the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Revenue Share Policy make up the entire understanding between you and Freevecs.
16.2 Assignment. Freevecs may assign this Agreement to another entity without your consent.
16.3 Severability. If any clause is held invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
16.4 No Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

No. You can download any free file on Freevecs without registering. Creating a free account unlocks extras: bookmarking files, tracking your download history, and uploading your own work to earn ad revenue. But if you just want the file, it is one click away.

CAN I USE FREEVECS FILES IN COMMERCIAL PROJECTS?
Yes. Every file on Freevecs is free to use in personal and commercial work, with no attribution required and no royalties to pay. Download it, edit it, and use it in client projects, products, presentations or print. The only thing you cannot do is resell the files as they are or redistribute them as your own stock library.
